Coaching skills for managers
Wednesday, 14 May 9.30 - 11.30 CET
About this session
This session is specifically aimed at managers and leaders who are looking to develop their teams and direct reports. Together we’ll explore the why and how people managers need to be able to coach and develop others. You’ll consider if a “coaching” approach is appropriate through the 3Ds and then have a chance to work with two proven coaching structures .
Coaching effectively as a manager demands high levels of empathy, integrity and curiosity. It also requires the manager to adopt a fundamentally different approach and relationship. We will then explore the more common challenges and obstacles you can expect to face … and together consider how best to tackle them Finally, we will challenge you to apply them to your own specific situations and give you a chance to practice!.
You will leave with awareness, real-world tools you can immediately apply back at work and confidence to try new ideas.
